Looks clean and inviting from outside but once you enter the cinema you are hit by a horrendous smell which puts you off immediately. We were in Cinema 6 not sure about others. I see the management still hasn't done anything to address the issue from previous patrons comments about the smell. Smells like multiple urinations on carpets/seats or mould/moisture in the room. Definately can't be hygenic/healthy. Sort it out will you and deep clean the place!!!! or lose business to Hoyts.

I have always loved the movies and Reading Charlestown is generally good. The staff are friendly and get the job done. The toilets are typically messy and only some of the seats have footrests, as opposed to hoyts down the road where 100% of their seats have footrests. Reading DOES have a food court just outside though.

Watched many films here. Photos in this review are of the gold class experience. Staff are super friendly. Yummy cocktails. Expectantly overpriced small servings of food. I come here for the gold class reclining lounges, so roomy and so recliney.

My experience was ok. I went to the Gold Lounge to see the Gran Turismo movie. I got the onion rings and a pizza. The atmosphere was fine. My only complaints are that the pizza was burnt and the reclining seats are getting a bit old. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Went to gold class for the first time. Saw Indiana Jones. There was an issue with the projector not lined up on the screen so the tops of people’s heads were not there. Reported to two staff members. Wasn’t fixed until 35 minutes into the movie. I ordered chips also. They were cold. Tried to complain after the session but no staff were able to be found. I wanted a refund or free ticket. Will not go back

Just saw Top Gun in Cinema 3 on the Premium tickets. Excellent value tickets. Recliner seats were spacious and comfy, especially with the movie going over 2 hours. Cinema was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Being able to prebook seats is such a bonus too.

Rude so rude male staff member. Went to see Black Demon and it had substantial Spanish spoken. But NO SUBTITLES. Walked out after 20 minutes of not understanding what was being said. Went to staff member and he said that's how movie was sent to them and there was nothing he could do. Hoyts would have instantly refunded . Will never go to this cinema again , especially since such a long walk to theatre AND the seats were hard and small and not reclining. So uncomfortable compared to Hoyt large comfortable recliners

Ok... Being able to drink booze and have food and more booze delivered to your table half way through is bloody brilliant. Went to watch Oppenheimer. Wow great movie. Comfy place to watch it. Just overall great night.
